Misting Technology

Water is the only substance on earth that has the ability to naturally exist as a solid, liquid or gas. Hence, it has varying properties depending what state it is in.With the Misting Systems we use, water is pressurised up to 1000 psi and then forced through specially designed nozzles. Billions of tiny water droplets can then be created.

Cooling
When water evaporates to a gas, changes in its physical properties take place. The 'flash evapouration' of the liquid to a gas absorbs energy from the air in the form of heat, which can result in significant ambient temperature reductions.
By forcing the droplets through specially designed nozzles at such high pressure they become so light they actually suspend themselves in the air and evaporate, this allows for a reduction in the ambient temperature of up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit making these systems ideal for outdoor cooling.

Benefits -:

- Increased comfort levels for all outdoor environments.

- Can reduce outdoor temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

- Substantial reduction in energy consumption for industrial A/C and evaporative cooling units.

Humidity

Evaporating water and limiting the air exchange, will increase the relative humidity. by controlling the moisture and air flow, any relative humidity level can be artificially created and maintained.

Once the air becomes saturated and can no longer absorb additional moisture, 100% humidity is achieved and the water will stay in a liquid state. The result  - micron sized water droplets will suspend themselves in the air creating a natural fogging effect - used to create unique landscape special effects.

If the droplets are enclosed in an area such as a greenhouse, humidity levels up to 100% are achievable allowing the system to provide precise and reliable humidity control.

Benefits-:

- Maintains ideal moisture content.

- Reduces evaporation, such as in wine storage applications, increasing the relative humidity can dramatically reduce the evaporation of wine through the oak barrels

- Reduces static electricity.

- Maximize product stability and handling.

Dust and Odor Control

As a liquid, water has the ability to absorb and be absorbed by other compounds. Dispensed in the correct manner water can absorb and completely remove dust and odor particles from the air, in a process called adhesion.

Benefits -:

- Reduction of dust and airborne particulates.

- Effective method for treatment of odors associated with organic waste.

- Helps eliminate hazardous working conditions.

- Less expensive to operate and maintain than air injection systems.
